This is a wonderful store. Within just 10 minutes, I had found two pieces of furniture that not only met my needs but were creatively and skillfully refurbished and very reasonably priced. I love the sustainability ethic that informs OffBeat's work: this store is a powerful antidote to our throw-away culture. Oh, and what did I find tucked in a drawer after purchase? Containers of touch-up paint for the two-color piece and artist brushes. What a thoughtful and classy touch!
I am incredibley happy. I noticed the store months ago and finally had the time to come in. My entire office is furnished by Offbeat Emporium. I mean my couch, coffee table, and chair. I am having them hunt down a desk for me. I am a mental health counselor and avid recycler. This furniture is of quality and beauty and funk. Great staff as well.
I had a chiropractor appt around the corner today and stopped in to kill some time. A few weeks earlier I had taken my daughter and brother to lunch across the street and wanted to check it out but was short on time. I finally did today and I'm so happy I got to go in. I spent plenty more than I was expecting to and even told the sales clerk that I would probably walk out with one of everything. It doesn't matter what the decor in your home is, the things in the store match well with anything. My husband is the first to crinkle his nose when I come home with little nick nacks for the house and even he liked the things I picked out. Deffinitely a hit and can't wait to go back!!!
Great place to check out. I went in looking for some unique accent pieces and found myself exploring an eclectic mix of furniture. If you are looking for a conversation piece or something that shows some personality this is the place!
My girlfriend heard about Offbeat Emporium's Spring Celebration on their facebook and we decided to stop in to see what they were all about. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful as they answered all of our questions. We were really impressed with all of the pieces of furniture and unique decorations they had... it's clear they take a lot of pride in what they do. We will be checking in regularly to see the new things they have.

The first time I walked in OffBeat Emporium I fell in love. All the interesting furniture. I love the fact that these are all reclaimed items. When I go in there to buy something I know that I will walk out with a one of a kind piece. The workmanship of the business is great. When I have friends over they always say something about the pieces of furniture or accessory I have bought from there. Thanks again guys and I will come back again. Can't wait !!!!!! Had a great experience at Offbeat Emporium. The staff was very helpful but did not make us feel at all pressured and worked with us to coordinate a (very speedy) delivery. The prices for the unique items in the store are very fair and I can't wait to find more items to bring home!
I bought a lime green dresser and a small hand painted leopard print table from Off Beat Emporium. The customer service was superb, and I would recommend this store to anyone looking for unique and fun pieces of furniture. I definitely look forward to purchasing from this business in the future!

Stopped in because we had a coupon from Groupon. We had such a pleasant experience. The owners (?) were so friendly and helpful. They supplied us with information about the various pieces. The store wasn't overcrowded like most reuse places. This shop is a nice addition to The Elmwood shopping strip.
I ordered a very unique piece online with OffBeat Emporium, Brandon was very helpful and is even holding my item while we arrange pick up. I had to consolidate my furnishings into my partner's home within the last few months. I sold pieces to OE on two separate occasions. The owners provided immediate feedback upon purchase and suggestions on where i could donate unuseable items to provide the best enviromentally friendly dispostion. Meanwhile, their store stock was very tempting. I nearly re-invested my sale proceeds in new furnishings.
This store is awesome!! Every time I'm on Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo, I have to stop in to see what new goodies they have!! I've purchased a dresser, hand painted lamp and lots of seasonal decorations. It's always fun to check out what they have, and I never leave empty handed!! Their prices are as fantastic as their merchandise!! Super nice and friendly service, too!! Great addition to the Elmwood shops!
I absolutely love this store! I've been in several different times, and each time I always find something that I absolutely love! Such as the cutest wine candle, which i've used as centerpieces and many people have commented on how much they love it, as well as Kitchen things and furniture. Everything I've gotten is at such a reasonable price and I can't tell you how cute everything is!!! This store is definately a hidden gem that you must check out!!! and not just once, cause they always have new stuff!!! You Guys Rock!! & Thanks for always remembering who I am!! I got a few AWESOME gift baskets for friends and family for Christmas from their store - I loved them, and THEY loved them, too! I stop in periodically to check their knick knacks and picture frames - I've bought an assortment of both! Lots of neat things for all ages. They have great furniture and MUCH more!! You'll have to check it out!!
Love this place! It's great to have someplace to go where I can pop and and check out the inventory without feeling pressured to buy on the spot. Bought a beautiful dresser today (also almost bought several other pieces over the last few months but missed them by just minutes!). Great job, guys; my husband and I can't wait to come back!

Found a "re-do" on a sturdy, wooden dresser here. If not one of a kind, one of few (not cookie cutter). The owners were friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Their prices are very reasonable - much less than you'd pay elsewhere, and you get quality. I am very pleased and highly recommend them.
Whether you need a large piece of furniture or a small decorative object, treat yourself to a tour through the Offbeat Emporium. Nowhere else will you find such imaginatively restored or lovingly rescued items. Bet you won't come out empty-handed!
Awesome piece of furniture! Wonderful customer service. They worked very hard to come up with an affordable and practical delivery method since I was outside of their normal delivery zone. Will definitely work with them again on future projects.
Though it sits in wait until I become an official homeowner, and have the space to put it out, I am in love with my lime green coffee table! Prices are fair, customer service is amazing and the shop is full of all sorts of goodies I love to look at and put in my wish list.
